Guild Virtues & Skills
A Yeoman is a servant to the noble Guild and a new recruit proving their valor and awaiting acceptance into Guild participation. Yeoman are on a probationary status and will need to display continue interest and activity within the Guild. They are assisted and assigned to the Knights of the Guild who will help them accomplish their quests and missions.
Yeoman must choose a character of level 1-10 regardless of how long they have been playing FFXI. If no jobs are available for the required levels, please speak with the Grandmaster or Guild member assigned to you.
Yeoman must complete one quest from of each of the nine virtues and the Yeoman's Mission to move to the next rank.
COURAGE
A Yeoman must travel from San d'Oria to Jueno on foot. No weapon is to be use and no armor above level 1 may be worn. A Guild Knight, Master Knight or Councilman must accompany the Yeoman on their journey but may not interfere in any way. They may set homepoints at the zones of each region if they are in San d'Orian control. If the regions are not controled by San d'Oria the accompanying Guild representative may raise the Yeoman if killed. No healing or cures may be used of any kind. The goal is not to die on the journey and to avoid combat.
HONOR
Honor is something that is expected from all Guild members at all times. It is not something that can be quested but is something that just is and it is noticable in all activities and manners of a person. To prove one's honor they need only act and be honorable. Upon successfully completing all other quest and mission requirments a Yeoman is brought before the Guild Council by their Guild representative and tales of their deeds told to the Council. If they have acted honorably and uprightly in all things then they will be considered as having passed this test.
LOYALTY
As mentioned in the Guild Rules, no member of the Guild may be a member of another Guild or Linkshell. A Yeoman must swear allegiance to the Kingdom of San d'Oria and to the Knights of Darkness, giving up any linkshells, guild memberships (other than craft guilds within the game) and any allegiance to another kingdom of Vana'diel. If you are already San d'Orian or not a member of other linkshells or guilds, this is an easy quest. If not, this may prove to be a tough choice.
